2021 Goals and New Years Resolutions



Let's just give ourselves a huge pat on the back that we finished 2020. Some may have gone through traumatic experiences, lost our jobs, went out of business, lost a loved one, went through a breakup, found new love? Big experiences.2021 is the year marking a new normal in the way we work, travel, eat, shop and think so let's see 2021 through the lens of healing and focus on being kind to ourselves.

Here are some eg's of intentions we could set for this year:
  1. Mark out at least one day a week designated to replenish your energy aka life force. Learn to say no to invitations and social events.
  2. Stop caring what others think. Replace with self love if this keeps coming up.
  3. Give yourself permission to do the things you want to do.
  4. Create a self love list of 5 things and do at least one daily i.e a luxurious bath with some essential oils, cooking a wholesome delicious meal, laughing with a loved one, going for a walk in nature.
  5. Get (back) into meditating. 
  6. To have a good morning routine, you need a good night sleep routine.
  7. Create rules around sugar intake. Drinking apple cider vinegar can reduce the negative effects of sugar.
  8. Create a self love list of 5 things and do at least one daily i.e a luxurious bath with some essential oils, cooking a wholesome delicious meal, laughing with a loved one, going for a walk in nature.

We put up with enough last year so let’s go easy on ourselves. This is not an excuse to be lazy but to keep our goals and self in realistic check and remember to trust in the process.
